Carl and Emma own a shoe store but things get tough when Carl falls, breaks his arm and is unable to make any shoes. How will they pay their bills? Then beautifully crafted shoes and boots begin to magically appear on Carl's worktable each day. Where did they come from? Who made them? These questions remain unanswered until one night when Carl and Emma stay up late and wait for their mystery guests to appear.
