
’Webster’s Christmas,’ starring our mischievous Webster the Wolf. Webster learns what Christmas truly is about, caring about others not just himself.As the summer ends and our busy Fall approaches we want to give you our programming opportunities for the 2011-2012 year.
During the month of December we will offer a special brand new Christmas package called,
Our Backpack tour will be traveling throughout Vermont during the week of Saturday, June 23rd to June 29th. There will be two shows that will be performed,
’The Gingerbread Boy’ and ‘The Emperor’s Nightingale’. The performance will be approximately one hour long and the cost for a performance will be the same as a ‘Traveling Storyteller’ performances. Please make your reservations early to assure a spot.The literacy packages that are offered throughout the year are:
Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Bears, The Three Pigs, Jack-in-the-Beanstalk, Rumpelstiltskin, The Elves and the Shoemaker, Nanuk
’s Arctic Adventure(an original story about a polar bear), Susan’s Friend (a show for African American Month), The Hill Family (a story about a non-traditional family that befriends a neighborhood) Ugly Duckling, Gingerbread Boy, The Emperor’s Nightingale, Beauty and the Beast, The Country Mouse and the City Mouse, The Princess and the Pea, Frog Prince, The Little Red Hen, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, The Periwinkle Family (a show for religious organizations) Hansel and Gretel and Our Halloween Literacy Package with Spookley the Square Pumpkin.Each Literacy Educational Arts Program (L.E.A.P) presented by the Traveling Storyteller Co. Inc. includes: two wiggles, a story and a puppet show that compliments the story, craft (optional for an extra nominal fee).
Our prices continue to stay very reasonable:

Add $10.00 if you would like to have the stick-puppet craft for each child to create after the show.
Mileage Added to Each Performance:
$15
for the first 30 miles and $5 for each additional 10-mile increment. We only charge you for one-way. What a deal!Out-of State Charges:

Mileage: (Same as in-state with a maximum charge as $190.)

Our date books are now open for the 2012 year. As always our hour- long presentations include: two wiggles, a story, and a puppet show with all original puppets and accompanying original music composed by Vermont artists, Adam Desrochers or Ryan Dempsey. We will still include the craft at the end of the show but we will be charging an additional $10.00.

During the last full week of June only our, Backpack Theater will be touring from Saturday June 23rd- Friday, June 29th. This year our show will be: 'The Gingerbread Boy' and 'The Emperor's Nightingale'. Bookings for Backpack Theater must be in by March 1, 2012 to guarantee your organization's reservation.
